About: I have more than a decade of professional experience in Landscape Architecture and am driven to strengthen the connection and integration of the natural and built environment. I love to work on projects that integrate public open space and green infrastructure into rural, neighborhood, and urban contexts to create green networks for surrounding communities and natural systems. As a Landscape Architect I get to work on a variety of private and public projects, including master planning, site design, planting and botanical design, permitting, construction administration, and much more. My work includes public recreation areas such as parks and trails, university campuses, stormwater planning, and streetscape design. Prior to my career as a Landscape Architect I've worked for the National Park Service, a Sustainable Ag farm in Southwest Minnesota, and an Ethanol Plant in Southwest Minnesota, as well as doing undergraduate research on water issues in the west.
