    About: I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Civil Engineering at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. I am interested in natural disaster relief and climate resilient infrastructure. Along with my technical classes in civil engineering, I have taken and will continue to take disaster resiliency courses at the City and Regional Planning Department at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Most of the work I have done has been related to global development and civil engineering, such as heading the planning and construction of the Nyawoluhle 2023 Pedestrian Footbridge project with Engineers in Action and Duke University. My aim is to mix climate resiliency and engineering to assess damages post-disaster and provide communities with resources to more easily adapt to the changing environment. On top of the social aspect of community resilience, I want to construct more nature-based infrastructure that could withstand another disaster event in the same area.
