About: I'm an ecologist with 30 years of experience in natural resource management, ecological risk assessment, science education, and climate adaptation. Ive lived and worked in a variety of places across the country for government entities, academia, private industry, and nonprofit organizations. I completed my doctorate at UC Berkeley where I studied aquatic ecology and invasive species. I'm an avid birder and cyclist, and I wake up most every day excited to work on efforts that support and protect the health and integrity of my community's and our planet's natural systems.
