About: Hello! My expertise is in groundwater flow and transport modeling, and I am currently conducting research on climate-change impacts on groundwater with implications for underground utilities, water quality, and pavement life. I am a research associate at the University of Massachusetts Boston working on climate-change adaptation planning for the greater Boston area. I have a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, a M.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.A. degree in physics and geology from Mount Holyoke College. I collaborate with researchers at the Infrastructure and Climate Network Global (ICNet Global) and the UNH Center for Infrastructure Resilience to Climate (UCIRC). I recently published research on the impacts of temperature increases and groundwater rise caused by sea-level-rise on pavement life and have developed an adaptation framework for coastal road infrastructure.
