Name: Sascha Petersen

About: I cofounded Adaptation International in 2010 to focus on helping communities and organizations build resilience. We work collaboratively with tribal and western communities across the country to assess climate vulnerability, develop adaptation plans, and prepare for the impacts of climate change. When it come to climate change, I've done a little bit of everything, including being the first Managing Director of ASAP. I'm committed to bridging the gaps between climate science, policy, and action and have worked in the academic (the Climate Impacts Group), municipal (City of Austin), non-profit (the Institute for Sustainable Communities), and private (Adaptation International) sectors.
