About: I'm Marin County’s Advance Planning Manager in charge of sea level rise, the Local Coastal Plan, the Countywide Plan and other initiatives. A founding class member of UCSC’s Environmental Studies Program, I double majored in Environmental Studies/Biology. Prior positions include the EPA, Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, ESA Consulting, Tahoe’s California TRPA, California Coastal Commission (CCC), Coastal Conservancy, and Half Moon Bay Planning Director. As CCC Public Affairs Director I created and developed California Coastal Cleanup Day, the Adopt-A-Beach program and the extraordinarily successful “Whale Tail” License Plate, which to date has produced well over $100,000,000 for environmental programs.
