Name: Susanne (Susi) Moser

About: I am an independent researcher and consultant in all matters related to adaptation, communication of climate change, psychosocial resilience, and science-policy interactions. I am the Director and Principal Researcher of Susanne Moser Research and Consulting in Hadley, Massachusetts, an Affiliated Faculty with the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a Research Faculty in the Environmental Studies Department at Antioch University New England. I am a geographer by training (Ph.D. 1997, Clark University) interested in how social science can inform society's responses to climate change. Most of my work focuses on adaptation, particularly in coastal areas, but I have worked more broadly with urban and rural communities, the forest and conservation sector, and on human health.
