Climate Adaptation Coordinator | University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dept. of Environmental Conservation & Extension | Amherst, MA
I focus on capacity building and network building for climate adaptation practitioners. This includes coordinating and connecting adaptation networks/collaboratives, such as the Massachusetts Ecosystem Climate Adaptation Network (Mass ECAN) and the ASAP-affiliated Network of Networks Group. I also encourage best practices with natural resources conservation and ecosystem resilience or transformation in mind. Along with engaging with ASAP, I also collaborate on other regional and national climate adaptation efforts, such as the National Adaptation Forum. Other interests include peer to peer learning, wildlife conservation, philanthropy for climate adaptation, creating new constituencies for conservation, non-profit management, translation of science, and land conservation prioritization.
