Climate Adaptation Coordinator & Extension Project Manager | University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dept. of Environmental Conservation & Extension | Amherst, MA
I coordinate partnerships and encourage climate adaptation with natural resources conservation in mind. Current projects include coordinating the Massachusetts Ecosystem Climate Adaptation Network (Mass ECAN) and affiliated Expert Work Groups and encouraging climate-smart land conservation. My ASAP involvement includes launching the Network of Networks Member-led Group and participating in the New England RALA Selection Committee and various projects. I also engage in regional and national climate adaptation efforts, such as the National Adaptation Forum Planning Committee. Other interests include wildlife conservation, philanthropy for climate adaptation, creating new constituencies for conservation, non-profit management, and translation of science.
