Deliberate, proactive climate action is a deviation from business as usual, and requires boldly challenging the status quo. At the heart of climate action are individuals: courageous leaders who may come from any part of society. In particular, climate action requires revising or creating new laws, policies, and regulation to incentivize adaptation action and penalize maladaptation.
