Name: Katelin Wright

About: Katelin uses her professional experience and academic inquiry on climate change to teach and write about climate security. Her novel research on climate change-induced migration received the Center for Homeland Defense and Security Outstanding Thesis Award. After graduating from the Naval Postgraduate School, she has continued to pursue her passion for exploring the nexus between climate change and migration and the security implications of climate change. She has given numerous presentations and participated in panels on both topics at her alma mater and FEMA. Recently, Katelin participated in the 2021-2022 Climate and Security Advisory Group Climate and Security Fellowship Program.
