Name: Kirsten Howard
About: I coordinate the Coastal Resilience Program for the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services by providing technical assistance and funding opportunities to Seacoast communities. I am especially interested in sea-level rise impacts, climate migration, and climate justice and equity. Previously, I was a NOAA Coastal Management Fellow, completed my master's degree at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment, and earned my bachelor's degree at Brown University. I co-piloted the Great American Adaptation Road Trip in 2013, a storytelling effort to uncover people and places building resilience to climate change. I live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with my husband and dog.
