Climate Change and Food Security: The Rest of the Story

Speaker: Lewis Ziska, PhD, Plant physiologist, USDA’s Agricultural Research Service. This seminar will discuss the findings of the U.S. Global Change Research Program’s scientific assessment on the impacts of climate change on human health in the United States. This report was developed over the course of three years by over 100 experts from across eight federal agencies, and represents a significant improvement in scientific confidence in the link between climate change and a broad range of threats to public health.
