Any realistic vision of a sustainable future requires us to “understand, design, and model the interconnected food, energy, and water system.” This is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity and it requires advances in science, engineering, economics, practice and policy.
The 16th National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment will engage over 1,000 leaders in science, engineering, policy, governance, business, education and civil society to work across traditional boundaries and advance integrated solutions. It will emphasize connecting science, engineering, and education to policy and practice.
